Issue Three

Issue three explores the constructs of feminism, exploring how feminism has become a trend in western culture. Looking at past feminist waves and the mistakes that should now be corrected, intersectionality and featuring essays on all-girls school education, Ita Buttrose, females in art and feminist journalism. This issue explores the construct of ALL, an idea that feminism is an issue that must be represented and presented to everyone, not just females. In this issue, Accidental Discharge looks at four components of feminism: art, unspoken, history and people. Combining visual aesthetics with interviews, essays and art this issue aims to educate and make changes to the Australian conversation on feminism.
